Been here twice, in 2023 and 2024. Food is good:

2023
Carbonara - on the saltier side but pasta is cooked well
Orecchiette with sausage and broccoli -  slightly overcooked but taste is good

2024
Fusilli with purple cabbage and (can’t remember the meat, was like a guanciale) - really good, pasta cooked well, flavours were well balanced
Cacio e Pepe - too salty, pasta was slightly overcooked
Tiramisu - cream was a bit too heavy, we prefer the cream to be light

The food was absolutely wonderful, and reasonably priced.
But the team was even more than that!
They made me feel extremely welcome, though I was sitting by myself and made my evening fun and interesting.

I ordered the pasta with pesto and even though it looked promising at first, the taste was really just off… Also, my friend ordered a salad with burrata and the burrata had a very solid consistency with water in it and tasted sour. In other words, the burrata was probably spoiled 😬 We also ordered drinks (Coca Cola and water) and even though it looked like they had been in a refrigerator, they were lukewarm…
So it really wasn’t worth the money and time, and honestly spoiled ingredients can lead to serious stomach aches so… wouldn’t recommend.
And, even though the place looks perfect for a relaxing dinner or so, it had techno music playing the whole time. So don’t necessarily expect a calm experience.

You want pasta?  This is the spot.  Total Italian flare.  Small.  Not so glamorous.  But the foot is authentically Roman.  It’s priced fairly.  It’s away from the tourist areas and yet it is within easy walking distance from the colloseum.  Indulge.  Expand your horizons.  It’s all good.  We opted for a few different dishes and it was all very good.  You’re going here for food- not for the ambiance.  You’re going here to have a meal that is casual.  Not your high end. Carbonara and Tiramisu is very very good !! Food 5 stars especially the meat is very tasty.

The waitress was unfriendly and there is not much room between the tables and seats. The fork was a bit dirty.
